Welcome to Resounding Rhythms West African Drumming School. We are Midcoast Maine's source for West African Drumming.

We formed in 2006 and we've been drumming with joyful abandon ever since. Our schedule maintains weekly, on-going classes in Guinean, West African drumming technique, special workshops, guest teachers, and general mirth and merriment throughout the year.

We teach out of our living-room studio, located in Wiscasset, Maine. Our classes are relaxed, informal, non-competitive and multi-level. Beginners and more advanced students learn side by side and from each other. We are always learning and growing together, as musicians and as people. For those wanting a more tailored, individualized experience we teach private and semi-private lessons by appointment.
